Dear Anne, Catherine, John and Marion (and Tom, Cheryl, Paul and Marianna and all the children and grand-children),
The whole Fallis family joins in expressing our deep condolences to your family with Elizabeth's passing. What a wonderful woman she was. One of the sweetest loveliest people ever! Of course, we all in our own ways have so many happy memories of the intersections between our families, which all go back to the fact that our mom and yours were in kindergarten together! And their deep and abiding friendship was a model of what that word can mean. 1919 was a good year! Alison and I particularly cherish the visits we were able to have with Elizabeth at Riverbend, usually as we came and went from Bruce Beach, where Murdo and Elizabeth had such lovely visits, and where we keep our copy of your mom's lovely book of memoirs. I will also never forget the calmness and delight of Elizabeth around all the hustle and bustle of the Guelph Spring Festival events, and our connections with you all in various ways.
I hope you are all keeping well in these trying times, and look forward to the time when we can come together to remember your wonderful mother in person.
All our love, David Fallis (with George, Catherine, John and Alex)
