ELIZABETH LYNNE ROGERS PERRY MCNEIL Always called Lynne, at age 66 she died peacefully in Mississauga after a brave argument with cancer. She overcame so many obstacles and faced each one with brightness and hope, sharing her story with all who faced similar problems so they could be encouraged by her strength. Lynne is lovingly and devotedly remembered by her husband, Barry McNeil, daughter and son- in-law, Rachel and Christoph Treptau and grandchildren, Sophie and Joshua Treptau. All of her ever-extending circle of family and friends share the devastation and grief over the immense, gaping hole in our world since her farewell. ¶ Born in Nottingham, England she became a teacher and encouraged a love of language and words at which she excelled throughout her life. After moving to Canada in 1976 she became a flight attendant with Worldways, Nordair, Canadian, and retired from Air Canada in 2009. Lynne prided herself on being groomed to perfection but cared deeply for her work and felt a huge responsibility to provide travelers with the best experience possible. Since retiring Lynne has enjoyed the freedom to travel with her family and enjoyed gathering all those in need under the shelter of her wings. She touched so many hearts. As her cousin put it: 'There aren't many people who can imprint themselves so strongly on those who meet her But Lynne was so vibrant and burned so bright, that she has imprinted her personality in all of us.'
