Elizabeth SOVIS Memoriam
ELIZABETH ANN SOVIS 1949 - 2012 Dearly loved and deeply missed. Ten years ago, on July 14, 2012, while riding her bicycle in Prince Edward Island, Elizabeth Ann Sovis of Edmonton, Alberta, was struck down and killed by a drunk driver. We celebrate her compassion, her generosity, her intelligence, her dedication and her integrity. We honour her loving devotion to her parents, her husband and her three sons; her passionate commitment to the disabled and the disadvantaged; her enduring contributions to education, healthcare and community. We share her dream of a safe cycling infrastructure that is accessible and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. We support the efforts of Vélo Canada Bikes to make this dream a reality.
