Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, London, on Thursday, January 11, 2001, Dr. Elmer G. Butt of London in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary Butt. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret Moore. Survived by his brother Dr. William Butt and his wife Ruth of Woodstock, and his sisters Margaret Tingen of North Carolina and Kay Carruthers and her husband Bruce of London. Loving stepfather to six children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving uncle to sixteen nieces and nephews and several great-nephews and greatnieces. Predeceased by his parents the Reverend Gordon and Mrs. Nellie Butt. Dr. Butt was Chief of Radiology at Grace Hospital, Windsor, Ontario. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London 1-877-246-7186. The complete funeral service will be conducted at First-St. Andrew's United Church, 350 Queens Avenue, London on Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Susan Shelstad officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Christ Church Cemetery, Amhurstburg.
