LUXTON, Elsie Robena (Holbrook)
Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, Ontario on Tuesday, January 25, 2000, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the Rev. William Gruer Luxton (deceased January 22, 1952). Dear mother of Helen Brightling and her husband John of Listowel, Don Luxton and his wife Joan of Orangeville, and Marian Luxton of Lantzville, British Columbia. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren John, Catherine and Michael Brightling, Don Luxton, Deanna and David Luxton Zammit, Lori and Frank Haywood, Sheryl Luxton, Craig and Scott Taylor. Loving Great Grandmother of Donna, Donald, Stephanie, Stephen, Tyler and Riley. Sister of Irene Nairn of Guelph. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Alice Holbrook, her brother Les, sister Jean, and infant granddaughter Donna Marie. Family and friends may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 28th. A funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Fergus, on Saturday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment at Mount Forest Cemetery, Mount Forest. If desired, memorial donations to the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund or Sleeping Children Around the World or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. (Cards available at the funeral home 519-843-3100). Her gentle grace, courage, and dignity will be enshrined in our hearts forever.
