FISHER, Dr. Esther Safer
Vitality, elegance, brilliance, wit, a true renaissance woman. On Friday, July 8, 2016, at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Irwin Fisher. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Spencer and Marie Fisher, and Dr. Deborah Fisher and Dr. Jack Colman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Leon and Zelda Safer, and Jane and the late Morley Safer. Devoted grandmother of David and Elizabeth, Jonathan, Naomi and Adam, Sarah and Jared, Rebecca and Adam, and Daniel. Devoted great- grandmother of Dalia, Eve, Jacob, Max, Anna, Morris, Shana, Yona, Raya, and Isaac. A private family service will take place. Shiva is private. Memorial donations may be made to Mazon Canada, 416-783-7554. Special thanks to Juvy and Fausta for their wonderful care.
