Peacefully in her ninety-eighth year, on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Emmanuel Cooke Q.C. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jeanne (Dr. Irving Salit), Anne (Roy Maurer), and Frances Rosenzweig (Lewis Hymen). Devoted grandmother of Rebecca and Joanna Salit, Julie and David Ferris, Daniel Rosenzweig and Deborah Hall. Proud great- grandmother of seven. Graveside service on Sunday, November 28 at 10 a.m., at the North End Wilkomirer Society Cemetery, de la Savane, Montreal. Shiva at 142 Strathearn Rd., Toronto, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, through Thursday, December 2.
