On Sunday, June 9, 2024 at home. Eugene Plotkin, beloved husband of Genrietta Lagutina, and the late Nina Plotkin. Loving father and father- in-law of Serge Plotkin and Alla Tumarkin, and Ella Plotkin and Brian Kelsall. Devoted grandfather of Daniel, and Stacey. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Ben-Gurion University, 416-665-8054, ext. 20, www.bengurion.ca/donation

I want to convey my deepest condolences to Dr. Plotkin's family. He was my academic advisor, along with Dr. M. N. S. Swamy at Concordia University, Montreal, during the years 1991-1996. I have very fond memories of him.
