Eunice Vivienne McQuillan (née Aqui) passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on March 13, 1946, in Trinidad to Ferdinand and Vivienne Aqui, Eunice was one of twelve children. She came to Canada in 1967 and went on to build a long and respected career in Human Resources. Over the years, she built a life defined by quiet strength, grace, hard work, deep faith, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved. Above all, Eunice loved her family. She was a devoted and deeply loving mother to her sons, Sean (Christine) and Edward, and a proud and cherished grandmother to Mickey and Quinn, who brought her immense joy. Family was at the centre of her heart, and she spoke of them always with love, pride, and tenderness. Eunice will be remembered as a woman of elegance, warmth, and quiet dignity. She had a gentle spirit, a generous heart, and a steady, calming presence that made others feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. She carried herself with grace, treated people with kindness, and lived with a level of integrity and sincerity that left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was deeply loyal, genuinely thoughtful, and the kind of person whose goodness was felt in both her words and her actions. She also had a quiet sense of humour and a lightness of spirit that those closest to her knew and loved. In her later years, Eunice found renewed comfort and purpose in reconnecting with the Church, which became a meaningful source of peace and strength in her life. She is survived by her beloved sons, Sean (Christine) and Edward; her cherished grandchildren, Mickey and Quinn; her siblings, Mervin, Aldric, Kenrick, Joan, and Lenore; and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Ferdinand and Vivienne Aqui; her siblings, Leslie, Neville, Irvin, Clarence, Ronald and Fred; and her niece, Michelle. Eunice will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her life was marked by love, grace, and goodness, and her memory will remain a gift to all who carry her in their hearts.
