Eva Joyce BENGER

EVA JOYCE BENGER (née Plunkett) Eva passed away peacefully at Credit River Retirement Residence on December 5, 2023, at the age of 98. She is reunited with her cherished husband of 67 years, Walter Benger; and beloved daughter, Lynda. She was also predeceased by her sister, Anne Plunkett; and brothers, Harold, Norman and Max Plunkett; as well as her sister-in-law, Jean (Robert) Petitt. She was a devoted mother to Ann, Janet, Susan (Kevin) and Judith (Joseph); grandmother to Alex and Sarah (Michael) Patterson, and Alistair Scheuhammer and Sean Davies; and great- grandmother to Galen Crozier. She will be dearly missed by her honorary daughter, Terry Brown; and many nieces, nephews and friends. We will especially miss her quick wit, wicked sense of humour and loving heart. Those who knew Eva know she hated being fussed over and would rather give than receive. In lieu of funeral services, and to honour Eva's character, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Credit Valley Hospital.
