Felicity BRIGGS Obituary

FELICITY DIANE BRIGGS A remarkable, funny and vibrant woman left us unexpectedly on September 9, 2018. She died in her true love's arms at their beloved cottage in Prince Edward County. Married for 33 years, Felicity and Don Mayne shared a joyous journey of life. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Fiona; brother-in-law, Bernie; and their children, Myles and Kaitlin. Her brother, Andy Briggs, predeceased her. Felicity was a mentor and role model who approached life with a zest for learning and sharing. She was witty, wise and compassionate to all whose paths she crossed. Felicity loved and thrived practising as a labour relations mediator and arbitrator modeling fairness and social justice. She resolved their disputes while connecting with the parties through personal stories. There will be two celebrations of her life: Sunday, September 23 from 1 - 3 p.m. in MacDonald Hall, Isaiah Tubbs Resort, Prince Edward County; and Wednesday, October 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Church of the Holy Trinity, 19 Trinity Square, Toronto. We will gather to celebrate her living rather than mourn her passing. Please bring a smile in your heart and share stories about Felicity. Felicity's involvement with Casey House and World Vision Canada would make them excellent choices for a donation in her memory.
