Peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2000, at home with her family, in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late Kenneth M. Thompson (1952) and the late James R. Grand (1985). Cherished mother of Joan (Don) McMaster, Bill Thompson, Rob (Val) Thompson and Susan (David) Rose. Special stepmother of Jim, John, Rob, Richard (Karen) Grand and Rosemary (Peter) Kinsey. Fondly remembered by 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home
A. W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 24th and from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 25th. A Service of Celebration will be held on Sunday, November 26th at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Park Community Church, 2180 Bayview Avenue (M4N 3K7). Memorial donations to Lawrence Park Community Church or IODE Children's Centre, North York General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
