LANGAN, Frances Mary (nee Ballachey)
Born April 23, 1918 in Paisley, Ontario, died March 22, 2007, in Toronto, Ontario after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Langan, loving mother of Mary (Chris Myles), Barbara (Arthur English), Frances (Danny Charuk) and Nora (Santi Cappuccitti). Proud and loving grandmother of Richard, Andrew (Ailith) and John English; Meghan and Cameron Myles; Kate and Christopher Charuk; Mary Frances Cappuccitti, Susan Carroll (Paul) and Allison Carroll (great- granddaughter). Devoted friend of the late William Stewart. Mary was born and raised in Paisley, Ontario, and graduated from Victoria College, University of Toronto, class of '39, where she met her husband Wilfrid. Mary and Wilf started their married life in Peterborough, Ontario before moving to Toronto in 1955. They enjoyed many years of cottaging at Lake Baptiste, traveling and participating actively in the Anglican Church of Canada. Mary's greatest joys were to be found with her girls and grandchildren. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W. (2 stop lights west of Yonge St.) on Sunday, March 25th from 2:00-4:30. A funeral service will be on Monday, March 26th at ST. CLEMENT'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 59 Briar Hill Ave. (at Duplex) at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Victoria College University of Toronto or to World Vision Canada would be greatly appreciated.
