Francis DUPUIS Obituary
FRANCIS ARTHUR DUPUIS December 13, 1941 - March 10, 2018 Frank passed away peacefully at the Langley Hospice, with his family at his side on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, March 10, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Doreen; and his children, Michael and Elaine. He was extremely proud of his children and their accomplishments. He is also survived by his two brothers, Clem and John; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael. He will be greatly missed by his family and his dogs. Frank was born and raised in Cobden, Ontario. After high school, he worked for Sun Life in Toronto. He fondly remembered his time in Toronto. Wanting adventure, he came to BC where he worked in the construction trade and the finance industry until he decided to further his education. At the University of British Columbia, he obtained both his Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Master's Degree in Education. Frank worked as a teacher in the Langley School District until his retirement. His connection between BC and Ontario was well maintained in part with several great cross-country driving trips he would take his family on. He always enjoyed the company of his dogs and horse, always had a little construction project on the go, and among other things, was an avid reader of the Globe and Mail. Thank you to the Langley Hospice and their doctors, nurses and volunteers for their help and care during Frank's last days. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Church in Langley on March 16, 2018 and Frank was buried in the Fort Langley Cemetery. In memory of Frank, a donation to one's favourite charity would be appreciated.
