It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Frank Phripp, at his residence near St. Clements, on May 4, 2000, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Reynolds). Loving father of Teri, Robert, Susan and her husband Paul Smith. Proud and special grandfather of Matthew and Peter. Up until 1967, Frank had a long career in the R.C.A.F. During this period he was also very active with Boy Scouts of Canada. His second career began at the University of Waterloo Research Institute. He was subsequently instrumental in founding the Innovation Centre in Waterloo. After his retirement in 1983 he was active in the Waterloo branch of the Genealogical Society. Cremation has taken place. A public memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, (519) 745-8445 on Wednesday, May 10, 2000 at 3 p.m. Reception to follow in the funeral home reception room. At the family's request, donations may be made to World Vision Canada.
