On Wednesday, November 29, 2000, at York County Hospital. Fred Rantz, beloved husband of Patty. Loving father of John, Catherine, Adam, Courtney, and loving stepfather of Riley and Kit McDowell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Selma and Stanley Pomeranz, David Rantz, Lois Vassel, Margie Ferrara, Joan and Douglas Estabrooks, Florence and Donald Hodgkins, Harvey and Barbara Fischler. Devoted son of Morris and the late Anne Rantz. Beloved son-in-law of Marcie and Dick Rutherford. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (one block west of Dufferin), for service on Friday, December 1 at 1 p.m. Interment Aurora Cemetery. The family will be home to receive friends on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings from 7 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Fred Rantz Memorial Fund, care of The Benjamin Foundation, 3429 Bathurst Street, Toronto M6A 2C3, 416-780-0324.
