FREDERICK MOTT Obituary

(January 1, 1963 - December 29, 2025) Our hearts are broken to announce the sudden, unexpected passing of Fred. He was a dedicated father to Virginia and loved deeply by his sister, Margaret. He will be missed by his extended family, David Linda, Tom, Mitchell, Cassandra, Tyler, Shiera and Yael. Fred was a successful stockbroker and his clients will miss his wisdom. He volunteered every Sunday at Union Station and loved helping people. He was a kind soul who never complained. Always caring more for others than himself. Life will never be the same without him in it.

My warm & heart felt condolences to Virginia & the family. It was an honour to have shared so many wonderful winters skiing with Fred & Virginia at Snowhawks. Fred was a dedicated volunteer & member of our community. He will be missed.

Thank you for introducing me to Snowhawks. I loved our time working together. I will miss you. My sincere condolences to your family.

I had lost touch with many of my relatives over the years, until Dave Freeman started compiling a comprehensive family tree of the descendants of James Edmund Jones. That led to a lunch with Fred and Dave last April, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I was very glad to discover that Fred was just as nice as I remembered from when I had last seen him - in his teens! My deepest sympathy to his direct family, especially to my cousin Margie, who I also lost touch with many years ago.
