Freya Lynne HANSEN

Freya Lynne Hansen (nee Gates) Freya passed away in her 77th year on February 10, 2024, from complications after a serious fall. She was the beloved daughter of George and Emily Gates. Freya will be greatly missed by her brother, Christopher; sister-in-law, Barbara; her nephew, Geoffrey; his wife, Huma and her niece, Katrina. She will also be fondly remembered by her cousins, Patricia Boulden and Susan Bunting. Freya was predeceased by Katrina's husband, Travis Gillespie; and her cousins, Jennifer Ord, Peter Tate and Anna Simmonds. A family gathering at her favourite cottage will take place later this year to fondly remember Freya and to commit her ashes to the lake she loved.
