Dearest Janette,

I was saddened to hear of your loss.

Geoff was always an upbeat happy man. I loved the way he smiled at you, always! He hung on your words. So lovely to see.

Please accept my sympathies, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Geoff shrewdly built a Parliamentary communications business devoted to backbench MPs, and second tier cabinet ministers, who were largely ignored by the major TV news networks and stations. He was also a talented impressionist, whose renderings of Robert Stanfield and Tommy Douglas, in particular, were nothing short of brilliant. We had some wonderful tours with Geoff, in Canada and Europe, with our National Press and Allied Workers Jazz Band, Inc. He was an essential part of that aggregation, and I'm deeply shaken by his death.

To Perky, Liam, and Geoffs family.
I was saddened to learn of Geoff's passing. He was a caring multi-talented man, who enriched the lives of many people. He was generous with his insights, helping young reporters learn the ropes on Parliament Hill. He was a man wth boundless energy, and an amazing sense of humour. He struggled every MP's dilema, am I my constituents man in Otttawa, or am I Ottawa's man in the constituency? He opted to stand by his people. A good broadcaster, a good MP, a good man. He will be missed. RIP. Duff
