Peacefully on Sunday, 29 July 2001 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, aged 92. Dear husband of the late Frances-Anne Johnston, beloved father of Robin Quinlan and Candace Shaw, honoured father-in-law of David Shaw and the late Peter Quinlan, cherished grandfather of Neville and Roderick Quinlan, Florence and Holly Shaw. Service at St. Clement's Anglican Church, 59 Briar Hill Avenue at Duplex Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday 1 August. In his memory (in lieu of flowers) donations may be made to The Peter Quinlan Fellowship in Oncology, McGill University, Faculty of Medicine, Dean's Office, 3655 Drummond St., Montreal, Quebec H3G 1Y6 or The Arts and Letters Club Acquisitions Fund.
