George MacPHERSON Obituary

MacPHERSON, George
Suddenly, on May 28, 2000, in Cincinnati, OH, beloved husband and best friend of Pat (nee Boutilier). Loving and supportive father of Greg and Scott, and father-in-law of Kristen and Melody. Grandfather of Michaela and Ashley. George, an independent businessman, was Sr. VP of Marketing of Ethxx Int'l. He was born in Cape Breton, NS, and spent parts of his life in Antigonish, Truro and Halifax, NS, before he and Pat moved to Florida for 12 years. They have resided in Toronto, ON since 1977. Brother of Jeanne, Sandy and his wife Valerie, Brian and Lynne, Father Robie, Barrie and Jennifer, and Carole Ann. George was predeceased by his parents George and Evelyn (Antigonish, NS). George will be missed by his many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. George will also be missed by his very special cousin/golf partner Gordon and his wife Judy. For the record, George parred his final two holes while golfing with Scott in Cincinnati. A celebration of George's memory will be held on June 10 at 441 Merton St. (Toronto) at the residence of his son, Greg. Family and close friends are asked to attend a ceremony from 11-12. An open reception (casual attire: George wouldn't have had it any other way) will run from noon until 5 p.m. Greg can be reached for information and directions via e-mail at: [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Sunnybrook & Women's College Health Sciences Centre (2075 Bayview Ave., Toronto, ON; M4N 3M5).
