GEORGE LADLY MARTIN

(July 22, 1933 – February 21, 2026) Died peacefully, in hospital on February 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Survived by his wife, Carol McCall; his son, David, and his wife, Angela Brown; his son, Paul, and his partner, Stephanie Morino; his daughter, Mhairi, and her husband, Richard Newman; and his grandchildren, Steven (Katherine Nichols), Anna (Sean Massey), Naomi and Dorothy. He is also survived by his sister, Ellena; his brother, James; and nieces and nephews in Canada, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert. George was retired Vice-President Cargo – Canada with British Airways. He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his family. His funeral service will take place on March 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Toronto, ON M9A 1G9.
