SNELL, Dr. George Ernest Douglas M.D. (F.R.C.S.) Can.
Peacefully, at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Thursday October 21, 2004 lovingly surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Alanna, dear father of Michael (Dawna), Peter, Stephen, Christopher (Lorelei Graham), Terry (Tony Dobson). Much loved grandfather of Christopher, Elizabeth, Jamie and Paris. Dear brother of Patricia (Mrs. George Crum). Douglas was a practising Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon at the Toronto General Hospital for 42 years. He was also an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. An avid opera enthusiast, historian and lover of the arts. Douglas was a true renaissance man. Friends may call at the TRULL 'NORTH TORONTO' FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge Street, (5 blocks south of Lawrence) on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CHURCH (Sherbourne, at Earl Street) on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
