WATT, Reverend George D.
On October 21st, 2001, Reverend Dr. George Douglas Watt, passed away at the age of 80. Survived by his loving wife Margaret, and children, Wenda, Don, Valerie, Virginia, Heather (Frimen), Melanie (Paul), and grandchildren David, Erin, Sonia, Andrew, Sarah, Tait, Graeme and Colin. Reverend Watt was United Church Minister in the Shellbrook Pastoral Charge, Saskatchewan 1948-51, in Ontario for the Dungannon Pastoral Charge 1951-57 and at St. Paul's United Church in Oakville 1957-87 and in Jasper United Church, Alberta, from 1987-93. Celebration of his Life Service is Thursday, October 25th at 2 p.m. at Millwoods United Church, Edmonton, Alberta. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the Reverend George and Margaret Watt Bursary Fund at Victoria University, Toronto. Messages of condolence may be emailed to [email protected]
