She was "Mom #2" during our youth, when I was lucky enough to spend school holidays with the McCances in Don Mills. What fun we had - she always thought of great adventures for us, such as a flight in a small plane over Toronto. Always tolerant of Anne and I trying to be late for the trip to Union Station for my train ride home to Sarnia... I have so many many fond memories and cherish a recent card she sent me. Yes, a fascinating woman, strong, funny, kind, and alive, with her very interesting "secret" job in NYC. I hear her laugh as I write and have her picture, below, from my parents' 50th, on the fridge. Much love to Bill and Anne and your families. Jane

To the McCance family, I knew your parents from being nearby neighbours back in the `50´s, and having worked with them in the `office´ on Friday mornings in the `60´s. My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. She was certainly blessed with a long and productive life.
