BERMAN, Gerald (Jerry)
Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, April 18th, 2009. Beloved husband of Dianne. Loving father of son Uri and his wife Denise, son Ron, stepdaughter Sola and her husband David, stepson Jeremiah and his wife Teresa. Adored grandfather of Sasha, Emily and Chloe. Never the one to pass up an opportunity to help others or have a lively conversation about sociopolitical idealism and equality, Jerry will be deeply missed and dearly remembered by his family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jerry's life on Friday, April 24th at the Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario. The welcoming will be at 2:00 p.m. with the service to begin at 3:00 p.m., reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated.
