Peacefully, in Montreal, in his ninety-second year, on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Freda Dolman. Loving father and father- in-law of Sandra and Sam Wollow, Murray and Francine, Reisa and Murray Sherman. Cherished 'Papa' of Melissa and Benoit, Sheryl and Fred, Darren and Heather, Bryan and Sandra. Very proud great- grandfather of Natasha, Zoe, Maxine, Jenna, Nathan, Daniel, Annie, Eddie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Saul and the late Dodo, Danny and Carol, the late Morris, the late Syd and the late Edith, the late Minnie Gerson. Gerry will be sadly missed by his dear friend, Ruth Martin, and her family, his nieces, nephews and all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. Golda, Leann and the compassionate staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for making him feel safe and comfortable. We would also like to thank Mercy for her outstanding care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Friday, December 11 at 1 p.m. Burial in Montreal. Dan will be sitting shiva in Toronto from Tuesday through Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, at 55 Skymark Drive, #402, Toronto.
