On Tuesday, February 3, 1998, at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gerald Norman Pencer, aged 52, dearly beloved husband of Nancy (Halperin). Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Stacey and David Cynamon, Holly and Clarke. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sam and Judy Pencer, Bill and Ida Pencer, Steve and Andrea Halperin, and Mark and Cindy Halperin. Devoted Papa of Jesse and Josh. Dear son of the late Clara and Harry Pencer, and devoted son-in-law of Claire and Jack Pashlin and the late Irving Halperin. Cherished uncle of Naomi, Jeff, Gary, Max, Richard, Ilana, Sara, Ilyse, Emily, Robert, Megan, Harrison, Elle, Matthew, Zachary, and Clara. At Holy Blossom Temple for service on Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Holy Blossom Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Shiva to be observed at the home of Nancy and Gerry Pencer.
