DACK, Geraldine Ethel
Born July 5th, 1910, in Fernie, British Columbia. Died in Toronto, Ontario early Sunday, July 22nd, 2001. Dear aunt of Penelope Perry and Mary Hawkins, of Toronto, and Dack Thomas of London, Ontario. Greataunt of Sarah, Martha, Matthew and Ned Perry, Laura Hawkins, and Jennifer and Kenneth Thomas. Predeceased by her parents, Launcelot Arthur Sweatman and Ethel Louise (McConnell) Dack, her stepmother, Helen Gladys (Lovell) Dack, her sister, and only sibling, Kathleen Elizabeth (Dack) Thomas, and greatnephew, Gregory Thomas. Gerry was a graduate of Havergal College - a ;Stoneager from the class of 1928 and University College, University of Toronto, 1931. She was a member of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity, and a Life Member of the Badminton and Racquet Club, Toronto. During the Second World War years, Gerry was employed by the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. and later the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office of London, England. Her lovely smile and sparkling wit will be greatly missed by family and friends. A service of thanksgiving for Gerry's life will be held in the chapel of ST. JAMES-THE-LESS, 635 Parliament Street, Toronto, on Tuesday, July 24th, at 11 o'clock.
