Gerry was always a welcoming presence at her home in the late 60s and 70s when 4 of us practiced with our new band in Gerry´s basement. Despite the noise we made, she always had a smile and offered us snacks to keep our energy up. And she never complained despite the noise emanating from her basement. The same band members still play together today. Gerry was smiling and joyous the last time I saw her as she prepared to watch Bruce play bass in his big band. Gerry was lovely person with a loving family.
