MINGARELLI, Giosafat (Jos)
In Montréal, on April 2, 1999, Giosafat Mingarelli at 88 years. Journalist, Ancient Foreign Correspondent for il Progresso Italo-Americano in New York and author of Gli Italiani Di Montréal. Beloved husband of Oliviana Lopez. Loving father of Marco (President of Aeroports de Montréal Capital Inc.) (Suzanne Painchaud) and Angelo (Professor of Mathematics at Carleton University). Cherished grandfather of Carolina, Jos, Stefano, Paolo, Oliviana, Chiara, Giovanna, Bernardo, Giordano, Angela and Michelangelo. He will also be sadly missed by his sister Maria (late Americo Stroppa) his brother-in-law, his sister-in-law and many nephews and nieces. Resting at Urgel Bougie Limitée, 175 Jean-Talon East Montréal, QC. Visitation Sunday and Monday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. Funeral Ceremony on Tuesday, April 6th, 1999 at 11 a.m. in Madonna Della Difesa Church, thence to Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in his memory to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, Cardiology Department.
