Gordon David Arnot
Gordon David Arnot 83, B.A.Sc., M.B.A., P. Eng. August 7, 1925 - April 14, 2009
It is with extreme sadness that his family announces Gordon's sudden and unexpected death at TEGH. Beloved and esteemed husband of Moira (nee Thrush), dear father of Leslie (Len Socha) and Nancy (Kevin Conroy), proud grandfather of Cameron Socha, and younger brother of Helen Campbell of Haliburton. Predeceased by brother Donald Arnot, DFC, in 1944. He joined the Armed Forces at 17 and served overseas in Holland. A memorial service and reception will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Beach United Church (formally Kew Beach), 140 Wineva Avenue, at Queen Street. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at TEGH. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
