Gordon MACDONALD Obituary

GORDON BREDEN MACDONALD April 8, 1936 - June 20, 2021 We said goodbye to Gordon on Father's Day. Born in Lions Head, ON, Gordon lived a long and fulfilled life. He is survived by Sheila, his wife of 60 years; his two sons, Breydon and Matthew; his six grandchildren, Chantler, Willow, Meaghan, Richard, Breanna, Spencer; two great- grandchildren, Kailynn and Henry; and many nieces and nephews. Gordon was a kind and gracious man, a proud, devoted husband and father, generous with his friendship and honest in his business dealings. An avid reader and craftsman he also enjoyed sports, travel, bad jokes and story-telling. A born-again Scot, he found great pleasure in all things Scottish, particularly the poetry of Robbie Burns and Scottish Country Dancing. Donations in Gordon's honour may be made to The St. Andrew's Society of Toronto. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dear Sheila, somehow saying goodbye on Father's Day is sad... but fitting. What a family-a gene pool- you two have given the world!! A legacy, always in all ways. I send you and yours much strength, dear one!
