KLYMKO, Dr. Gregory Ernest

The young Dr. Klymko departed from this earth on Friday, November 9, 2012, with his beautiful bride of 34 years, Dr. Catharine Menes, at his side. Greg practiced anaesthesia for 31 years in Kitchener. Left to honour his memory are his much loved children Mary Briden (Dale) and John Klymko. Poppa to Marion Margaret Violet Briden and Grace Marie Lyn Briden. Greg had 3 beloved brothers, Alex, Ed (Tricia), and Jim (Lorraine), and a brother-in-law Frank Chappel. Greg is predeceased by his sister Marie Chappel (2009). Greg will be missed by his in-laws Edith and Wayne Jennings, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Greg's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. and again on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519-749- 8467). Vigil prayers will be held on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church, 85 Strange St., Kitchener, on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception at Henry Walser Funeral Home following interment. As expressions of sympathy, please consider a donation of blood to Canadian Blood Services or a donation to the Mennonite Central Committee or House of Friendship. Donations can be made through the funeral home. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert Stevens and Cathy, Chemo Suite and the staff of 6AB at Grand River Hospital, Dr. Graeme Fraser (Juravinski CC), Dr. Donna Ward, Dr. Duncan Schwarz, staff of Union Terrace 3 Freeport Hospital, CCAC, and many good and faithful friends who have eased our way.
