Gregory VOGT Obituary

GREGORY VOGT February 9, 1962 - May 7, 2022 Greg passed away in his 60th year, after a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved son of Gerolf and late mother Agnes; and much-loved brother of Chris (Heather); nieces Emma and Talia - affectionately calling him "Gruncle"- and brother Thomas. A key pioneer in the retail industry, Greg was an international leasing professional with over 30 years of experience. Starting in Toronto with Cadillac Fairview, he concluded with his position as Director of Leasing at Gulf Related's Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Greg loved and lived his life to the fullest, rich in travel, adventure, and spontaneity, with friendships the world over. Whether sailing his sailboat on the Persian Gulf or boating on Georgian Bay, Greg was happiest when he could share his adventures with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. A celebration of life will be held at later date. Heartfelt thanks to his care team at Princess Margaret Hospital, the critical care team at Mount Sinai Hospital and the palliative care team at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at Morley Bedford Funeral Services (morleybedford.ca)

You were one of a kind brother. Your humour infectious, your wit unmatched, and your appreciation of lifelong friendships never forgotten. My absolute condolences to the family, you must be shattered.
