HANS JOACHIM PFAU September 23, 1946 - December 9, 2013
As his friends, it is with great sadness that we say farewell to our dearest friend Joachim. Lovingly know as Yogi Bear, Yog or just the Bear.
Joachim was a boy from Niagara Falls who attended Queen's University (Arts 70) and then began his journey to take over and conquer the business world. He started his working career at Facelle selling paper products, then became Western Canadian manager for Pepsi Cola, followed by brand manager for Mountain Dew and then President of Dr. Pepper Canada. His successes in Canada led to a transfer to Dallas where he championed and built Dr. Pepper's military sales and finally the development of his own firm Telesis Marketing.
An engaging speaker and gifted at the written word, Joachim could speak and write on any topic but his heart and mind were generally focused on business except when he was enjoying the pleasure of his cherished friends.
For us, he was a best friend, a mentor to us all, as well as to our children, and a great companion.
Joachim was predeceased by his mother and father.
Pancreatic cancer is a horrible disease and took our friend way too quickly.
If you feel you would like to donate to a charity in Joachim's name we are sure he would appreciate you choosing one where the money gives the most help.
Condolences and memories may be forwarded to
