Passed away peacefully, at home in Toronto, surrounded by his family, on May 30, 1999, after a courageous battle with cancer, at 66 years of age. Cherished husband of Ele. Adored father of Martin and Devin. Beloved son of Ludwig and Emilie of Timmins. Dear brother of Will and wife Kaija of Timmins (Jesse, Luke and Tyler). Loving brother-in-law of Kathy and husband Martin Sowden (Erik and Kerstin) of Toronto. Dear son-in-law of Elena Valba. Will be sadly missed by cousin Matilda Lang (Jack) of Florida. He will be fondly remembered by former students and colleagues as the Head of Music at Bloor Collegiate and more recently by clients at Lutheran Life. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday, June 2nd, 1999 at 1 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, Suite 308, 586 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto, M4P 1P2, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
