He was with The Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC, The Bank of Montreal and Royal Trust. He eventually founded three of his own financial consulting firms. For the last 30 years, Victoria, BC, was home for Dennis and his wife, Audrey. Dennis founded the local chapter of PROBUS, and received one of the highest awards from Probus Canada. Dennis gave tirelessly. He was Vice-Chairman of the Toronto United Way, President of the Society for International Development (Washington, DC), Director of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, BC Region, and Director of the Victoria Symphony.
