PSUTKA, Harry

Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Joan, who would have shared their 60th anniversary in September 2014. Loving father of Dr. David Psutka (Patricia), Dr. Tom Psutka (Donna) and Doug Psutka (Janine). Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Will Lack), David (Safa), Warren, Christopher, Kathryn (James), Matthew (Johanna), Jarrod and Rebecca. Survived by his brother, Michael Psutka. Predeceased by his son, Andy Psutka (1997), daughter, Mary Theresa (1956-at birth), and brothers and sisters; Joseph, Anne, Stan, Frances, Mary, Sister Mary Michael, Eddie, Helen, Johnny.
Harry played professional hockey and baseball in the 40's and 50's and worked as a furniture salesman.
Harry's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, ON, 519-749-8467. Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:20 a.m., followed by a procession to St. Teresa RC Church (44 Leonard St., Kitchener) for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Reception will be held in the church hall following the Mass. Cremation to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or St. Teresa RC Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
