Lost his long battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband to his courageous wife Laela, for almost 53 years. Loving father and father- in-law of Randi and Steven Hartstone, and Michael Silver. Loving son to Sylvia and the late Al Silver, and son-in-law of the late Charlie and Betty Chousky. Dear brother and brother-in-law of David and Barbara Silver, Marilyn and the late Jack Rotenberg, Marty and Marlene Silver, and Joey and Linda Chousky. Devoted grandfather to Warren, Alexandra, Corey and Ryan. Loving uncle to his nieces, nephews and great niece. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue W., (three lights west of Dufferin) for service on Thursday, October 15th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Toronto Hebrew Benevolent Society section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
