I met Harvey in the early 70's while working in a fly in Oji -Cree village 500 miles north of Thunder Bay.He had been flown in to try to deal with an outbreak of temporary nighttime seizures that was escalating amongst the teenage community of the small(one hundred member village)
Previous heath professionals flown in to help had a diagnosis even before they got far from the airplane ;drugs, witchcraft etc.
Harvey waded into the nightly events noticing that the effected girls seemed to be held down by their fathers and the boys held by their mothers. His prescription, have the mothers cradle the girls and the fathers cradle the boys. The length of the episodes dropped by half by the second night and had tapered off to nothing by the time he left 2 days later.
My wife and I had the pleasure of long conversations with him while he subtly addressed the difficulties I was having as a teacher in my first job .Sorry to have missed the Zoom which I am sure would have been enriching. Peter Bunnett

What wonderful memories I have of Harvey when he and Mary hosted delicious dinners for Mary's Italian group. Harvey was always welcoming and always had many stories to tell from different parts of his life. These evenings we all appreciated and enjoyed. Dear Mary, I send you a warm embrace and my sympathy to you and to Frank and the rest of the family.
