I met Dr Moldofsky at a critical time in my life. I remember most for his kindness to me, so much so that I thought God had sent me to an angel. I will never forget him.
My deepest condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences to Dr. Moldofsky´s family. He was my sleep physician 35 years ago, when I was only 10 years old. At a time when sleep disorders were not widely recognized, he took the time and care to find the right treatment for me-one that I continue to use to this day. Beyond his clinical expertise, he was a deeply caring and compassionate physician who supported not only me, but also my parents throughout the entire process. Because of his dedication, I was able to live a normal and fulfilling life. After his retirement, I was seen by other sleep specialists, but none matched his passion, commitment, and genuine concern for his patients. May he rest in peace. His impact will never be forgotten.

I was very saddened by hearing this news and will miss "bumping into" Dr. Moldofsky at sleep conferences. He holds a special place in my heart, as he was my first mentor in the area of sleep. He was on my PhD committee for my dissertation that focused on sleep in children with ADHD. He was instrumental in catalyzing my career as a sleep researcher. I will forever be grateful for the time and energy he put into my training. His contributions to the field of sleep medicine will be eternal. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Dr. Penny Corkum, Professor and Psychologist, Dalhousie University.

Harvey was a treasured friend. He was funny, wise, kind and loyal. We shared the gold medal when we graduated from psychiatriy together at the University of Toronto and we both traveled to England along with our wives to continue our education. Harvey chose a career in research and developed a well-deserved outstanding international reputation.
When we were together we often spoke Yiddish to one another and we giggled a lot.
Harvey you were a remarkable friend.
Lena and I offer our condolences to Zelda, to your children and to your family.

Looking into and defining biological markers in medicine is a very important step, something Harvey tried and achieved from the very first steps in his career.
Everyone passes away, while some people's legacy last. Harvey's memories will last.

I am grateful for the time I spent studying with Harvey during my Masters 1993 to 1995. Many of the things I learned about measuring sleep, affect, and cognition remain in the work that I continue to do today. I always appreciated seeing Harvey at the annual sleep conferences to touch base.

I was very saddened by this news. I first met him many years ago. He was not only a very smart and productive researcher, but also "a real mensch". His accomplishments are legendary! He will always be remembered by many of us!
