MCCORMACK, Hugh Patrick
Passed away peacefully at his home in Barrie, with his family by his side on Monday, December 16, 2013, in his 94th year. He is survived by Bridget (Bridie) his loving wife of 68 years. Father of the late Jim (Brid), Brian (Claudette), Deirdre (Brian Cullingford) and Mary. Cherished grandfather of Hugh, Lisa, Bridget and great grandfather of Connor. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Terry, Seamus, Billy and sister Bridie. Hugh emigrated with his family to Canada from Ireland in 1964. He spent much of his career in the paper industry; opening Baywood Paper Ltd. in 1980. The family would like to express their appreciation to Hugh's caregivers and especially to Dr. McConvey for the attentive care he provided. Friends may call at the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Mass at St. John Vianney Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie, on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
