Hugh McLENNAN Obituary
McLENNAN, Hugh PhD, F.R.S.C., U.B.C. Professor Emeritus
Died unexpectedly on December 24, 2004 at home in Vancouver at the age of 77. Born in Montreal, he graduated from McGill University and worked in England, Montreal, and Halifax before coming to U.B.C. in 1958. He is survived by Hilda, his wife for 55 years, daughter Catriona, son Neil (Bev), grandchildren Meghan, Gwen and Ian and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2005 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary's Kerrisdale (Church Hall) on Larch St and W. 37th Ave. with a reception following. Donations in his memory may be sent to the Charles Crane Memorial Library & Resource Centre (library for the blind at the University of British Columbia), Vancouver, B.C., V5Z 2E8.
