Ian KENNEDY Obituary

IAN JAMES KENNEDY October 16, 1955 - March 31, 2018 Age 62. Ian Kennedy passed away in his home March 31, 2018 after fighting pancreatic cancer, and only 10 weeks after being diagnosed. He left us far too soon. Originally born in Ayrshire, Scotland and brought to Toronto at the age of 2 by his predeceased parents, James and Patricia Kennedy. Ian is survived by his loving wife, best friend and soulmate, Monica Kennedy of 13 years where they were married in Mexico in 2005. Monica was his life partner for 20 years. He is also survived by his children, Adrienne Cuch, (son-in-law, Michael Cuch), Meaghan Chabot, (son-in-law, Steve), Corey Kennedy (partner, Andrea), Michael Borg, Cassandra Moore (son-in-law, Brad), along with grandchildren, Noah and Jonah Cuch, Everett and Elle Chabot, Maggie and Jacob Borg, and Sloane and Kingsley Moore. Survived also by his sister, Jackie Harvey and nephews, James, Brian, Doug and Charlie Harvey. Ian is and always will be the heart of his company ITN (Integral Transportation Networks Corp.). He was a great man, larger than life, a wonderful business leader, an amazing husband, father and grandfather. The loss of Ian Kennedy, which was far too early, is profoundly devastating. He touched so many lives and he will be missed by so many. Ian you will live on in the hearts of hundreds for many years to come. Family will begin to meet with near and dear ones from 11:30 - 12:00 p.m. before the Memorial service that will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 5 at Scott Funeral Home, 420 Dundas Street E., Mississauga and a celebration of life will be held at Le Treport Banquet Hall, 1075 Queensway E., Mississauga between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would be deeply appreciative if a donation can be made to Pancreatic Cancer: http://www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca/
