IAN MACLEAN MASON Passed peacefully at Crossroads Hospice, Port Moody, B.C., on August 17, 2011, age 73. Ian will not easily be forgotten. Though much of his life was spent in Canada he maintained strong ties with his Scottish roots. Ian never fully retired as a geologist, played rugby until age 60 and his musical talents on the accordion were legendary. Ian has left a legacy to be proud of. He will be very sadly missed by his many friends but above all by his wife Janet, his daughters, Lorna (Richard Whalen) and Claire (John Alexander), his grandchildren, Spencer, Ian and Christina, and his sisters in Scotland, Mary Bowman and Dolly MacLeod. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Johnny and grandson Fraser. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Old Orchard Hall, 644 Bentley Road (Ioco Rd.), Port Moody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Hospice Society,
