Although I did not know him well, I did know he was a caring, intelligent, thoughtful man. My sincerest condolences to the entire Scott family. These are such terrible times made much worse by this loss and not being able to be together to offer supposrt and comfort to one another. My prayers are with you.

Thank you to all who have shared stories, offered sympathies and expressed condolences to our family. Our father, grandfather, great-grandfather was an exceptional person who worked long hours in the corporate world, but also made time to fix our bicycles and those of our neighbourhood friends, lead a Cub Scout pack, practice hockey moves, play pitch and catch with us, teach us how to ride a bike and later how to drive a car (and change a tire and gap a spark plug), demonstrate basic electrical and plumbing repairs and carpentry fundamentals. He counseled us to do our very best at anything we chose to pursue, maintain a sense of humor, and to be good people. We will carry him in our hearts always, but still miss him profoundly.
