Ian Wiseman Obituary

WISEMAN, Ian Rupert 54
Peacefully on Christmas Day, 2004 after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. He will be sorely missed by his beloved daughter Evelyn Rose, wife Nancy Robb, mother Margaret Rose, father Rupert, sisters Barbara Neely and Gail Wiseman- Reed, and dog Roxy. Born on June 6, 1950, in St. John's, Nfld., Ian was an award-winning television producer, professor, and writer. He wrote several books of humor and non-fiction and, during his early struggle with MS, two collections of poetry. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Atlantic Division. Those who wish to pay respects may attend a memorial-reception at his home, 864 Robie Street, Halifax, on Saturday, January 8, 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
