IGORS SVISTUNENKO Obituary
Peacefully, on March 18, 2026, in his 89th year. Reunited with his beloved wife of 62 years, Donna. Loving father of Ingrid (Andrew), Wendy (Les), and Tina (Andrew). Predeceased by his granddaughter, Faith. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Juris (Edith); sister-in-law, Joy; and his extended family in Canada and Latvia. He was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and deep commitment to his family. He took great pride in the life he built and the love he shared. He taught us the value of kindness, hard work, and togetherness, and his memory will continue to guide us every day. Born in Riga, Latvia, Igors immigrated to Canada in 1950, where he built a life defined by dedication and integrity. He was a respected IT Project Manager working on mainframe treasury systems in Montreal and Toronto, admired by colleagues for his professionalism and steady leadership. An avid bridge player and curler, he found great joy in both the game and the friendships it brought. In lieu of flowers, donations to Campfire Circle would be appreciated.
