Ingeborg Ortmann-Scholz, born October 14, 1932, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at 92. Ingeborg was the devoted wife of Fred Ortmann and later John Scholz, and was a loving presence to his children. She was the beloved tante to Vera Tarman. She shared a valued friendship with Evelyn Macintosh. Inge dedicated many years of her life to nursing, serving as head of the X-ray department at Queen Street Mental Health Center, where she was known for her compassion and professionalism. After retirement, she embraced life with fresh adventures, including travel, a new marriage, and the deep satisfaction of her relationships with Austrian relatives and close friends. Inge will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the Chapel at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, at 1 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to mental health organizations.
